The process of architectural design is a
complex endeavor beginning with a host of intangible services and
ending with the reality of a completed project.
The easiest place for an
architect to establish an individual identity is with a distinctive
visual style represented by real buildings, or architectural
theories articulated in drawings and text.
On the other hand the most
difficult place for an architect to articulate an individual
identity is within the arena of intangible architectural services
like methods of project delivery or the process of design.
However there are underlying
intangible elements that can be defined and can establish an
individual personal identity. These are the core values of the firm
and its leading architects.
At drivearchitecture our core
values are deeply rooted, have been tested over time, and speak to
the heart of our mission – “to make a difference”. Specifically we
believe in accountability, transparency, civility, flexibility,
leadership and doing the right thing – for our clients and for our
